Service Description: Provides emergency and on-going assistance with food and clothing to residents in need

Services include:

Food bank - offers food to eligible residents of Norfolk County in need * no appointment required

Emergency assistance - provides short-term assistance for those in immediate need * food, clothing, infant needs, and furnishings * medical assistance, accommodation, and transportation also offered in limited capacity * email famserv.simcoe@eastlink.ca for more information

  • anger management program at $100
  • Community lunch - community meal May to Sep every Tue 11:30am
  • Ontario Elecricity Support Program - Help for low-income Ontarians * by appointment only
  • Salvation Army camps at Jackson's Point- Adventure Summer camp for children aged 6-15 years * Moms and kids Summer camp for mothers and their children aged 0-10 years
  • Christmas hamper and toy program - toys for children aged 14 years and under * food hamper to assist families and individuals during Christmas
  • Community Christmas program - apply in person
