Service Description: The Coalition was formed in 1985 as a not-for-profit community-based partnership of persons with disabilities and community groups working collaboratively to affect positive changes for persons with disabilities. Today, the Coalition continues its vision for ˇ°independence and inclusion for persons with disabilitiesˇ± through a number of community-based programs and services.

*Employment Access is a one-stop employment service for all persons with disabilities who wish to access assistance in preparing for, obtaining and maintaining competitive employment

*Work Readiness Program is an innovative program that includes a paid 8 week essential employment skills workshop followed by a 7 week work experience.

*Connections Resource Fair is a showcase of products and services for persons with disabilities. In a trade show environment, visitors meet exhibitors and learn about the products, services and supports available to them in the community

*Accessible Customer Service Workshops help organizations understand and comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
